Working in collaboration with the user experience team at Athabasca University, I was able to help make numerous improvements from the previous version of the university’s website. The goals of the project were to both modernize the website and to also improve the ease of use. Clear visual direction was required to help people navigate to the information they need. A clean, concise menu was designed as the starting point for anyone navigating the website, with the most helpful links front and centre. Because of the size and reputation of Athabasca University, it was crucial to stay consistent with the brand style.
